New Years Resolution
I ran across one of my New Year’s Resolutions in my unfinished Artist’s Way notebook.
“I resolve to live in the present – not regretting what I didn’t do
or worrying about what I should do.What am I doing right now?
Too often I let myself get caught up in worries
about the past mistakes or future problems.”Still working on it…

As easy as it sounds
It’s hard to just be
A worthy goal.
I spend too much time chewing on the past and planning for the future myself.
Def a worthy goal.
It’s a delicate balance between processing the past and being stuck in it, between healthy recognition and denial.
